To tell someone I love you, it feels like weight and a lump in your throat. It was not at all normal to say this to yourself. But times are changing.
I realize that it all starts with me, not others. How much love I can share with others depends on how much I give it to myself. We first learn to love ourselves by slowly accepting whatever bothers us. If we can’t accept it, then we change it. As acceptance grows, so does love for oneself and consequently for others.
